Job Description

• Verizon is looking to hire Fresher Graduates for Cloud & DevOps Engineer roles.
• Play a crucial role in the development, operation, and support of Cloud and DevOps platform-based services for essential business applications.
• Deploy and configure AWS applications following solution architectures through CI/CD automation.
• Provide ongoing management, troubleshooting, and support for enterprise applications in both on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/EKS/OCI), adhering to a 24/7 support model.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, leveraging DevOps and SRE principles to enhance automation.
• Diagnose production issues and implement automated solutions wherever possible to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• (If experienced) Hands-on experience in a 24/7 production support environment, with strong skills in troubleshooting and managing infrastructure across On-prem and Cloud platforms (AWS/EKS/OCI) on Unix/Linux systems.
• (Preferred) Proficiency in troubleshooting, load balancing, clustering, application deployment, and performance tuning, with an emphasis on automating manual processes using DevOps/SRE tools.
• (Preferred) Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory, and familiarity with managing AWS environments.
