Job Description

Mountblue is looking for smart and motivated engineers to join their team as Software Engineer Trainees. The candidates must have programming proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, JavaScript, Java, Python, PHP, or Ruby. Selected candidates will undergo an extensive 12-week training program, and upon completing the program’s requirements, they will be offered the role of Software Development Engineer. Responsibilities include:

  • Working in a team to develop, compile, test, debug, and deploy software.
  • Developing web and mobile applications using JavaScript, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Ensuring close to 100% timely and defect-free software deployments.
  • Writing documentation for the software and APIs.
  • Supporting software during production and providing hotfixes.

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum Qualification: BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA from the 2023 and 2024 batches.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (C, C++, JavaScript, Java, PHP, or Python).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies.

Important Information:

  • Candidates must commit to 15 months of continued employment, if they leave before completing this period, ₹200,000 will be recoverable as training costs.
  • After the initial 3 months of training, candidates will be assigned to one of the following locations: Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, or Chennai, with preferences taken into consideration.

Compensation:

  • For the first three months (training): stipend of ₹15,000 per month.
  • For the next 12 months: stipend of ₹33,400 per month (totaling ₹4.01 lakh).
  • Compensation after 15 months will depend on performance, typically ranging from ₹8 to ₹12 lakh.

Selection Process:

  • Round 1: In-premise coding test along with a repeat pH test at the NCR location.
  • Round 2: Interviews at the NCR location.
  • Shortlisted candidates must visit Mountblue Technologies at their NCR office for the in-premise test and interviews (no exemptions will be made).
