Job Description
As an Application Engineering Intern at Google, you will be involved in developing, deploying, and supporting internal business applications. Your role will include solving technical problems, configuring and customizing vendor-sourced software, and creating custom-built solutions. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, and assist in integrating third-party products with internal systems.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Fluent in English.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with systems software, algorithms, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP), and JavaScript.
- Available to work full-time for 12-14 weeks during the summer.
